Call for Applications for a Grant from the Resilience Fund
The Charles University Foundation announces a call for applications for grants from the Resilience Fund (hereinafter referred to as the “grant”). The Fund supports student-led activities and events aimed at strengthening students’ well-being, community building, resilience and mental health.
Applications will be accepted from 12 October to 15 November 2026.
Support will be provided for interactive activities, events and projects that are co-organised by or actively involve Charles University students and focus on:

developing students’ skills to cope with unexpected situations,
-
strengthening their psychological resilience,
-
building strong and supportive communities,
-
promoting overall well-being and social cohesion.
The purpose of the grant is not to support standard teaching activities such as regular semester-long lectures, seminars, etc.
Who can apply?
Charles University student associations and informal student groups focusing on supporting student resilience and well-being.
Applications may be submitted for one-off events or activities, as well as for projects aimed at strengthening student resilience, such as specific mentoring programmes or pilot projects introducing approaches inspired by good practice abroad.
Project implementation period: 1 January 2027 – 31 December 2027
Areas of support
Student well-being and mental health
-
workshops focused on coping with stress, anxiety, burnout or other forms of psychological strain,
-
relaxation and mental well-being activities,
-
interactive discussions and workshops with mental health professionals.
Community building
-
student community events,
-
interactive group activities promoting cooperation and connections across faculties.
Developing resilience and coping with unexpected situations
-
interactive workshops on crisis intervention, time management and coping with change,
-
simulation exercises and experiential workshops focused on coping with crisis situations,
-
programmes and projects supporting personal growth, self-reflection and coping with uncertainty.
Sharing experience and mentoring
-
peer-to-peer groups, support groups and sharing of good practice,
-
student conferences, projects and forums focusing on well-being and mental health.

If you wish to apply for a grant in more than one area of support, you must submit a separate application for each area.
Each application must include:

the overall project budget using the template corresponding to the type of activity/project, available for download here.
Conditions
Applicants must meet the following conditions to be eligible for a grant:

they must form an informal group whose members are students of Charles University, or be organised as a Charles University student association,
-
they must be able to designate one responsible person who will take responsibility for the project,
-
they must organise the event, activity or project in cooperation with at least one other informal group or student association, or collaborate with student initiatives, projects, etc. from the non-profit or public sector.
